Christie Jones Ray is a self-taught artist who only began working with watercolors and writing her stories in 2011, at the age of 50, and is the author/illustrator/calligrapher of 17 titles, including the Eliza Series, and the Fox Family of Franklin.

In addition, Christie has created a series of 5 x 7 greeting cards and two series of mini note cards. As a toy maker, she is the creator of Eliza the Mouse and Baby Mouse. She hand-stitches, signs, and numbers these featured characters from her storybooks.

These little mousies have traveled to their new homes across the United States, up into Canada, and have made their way across the ocean to the United Kingdom.

With her troupe of characters ever expanding, more tales are in the works...specifically, the story of a beloved antique teddy, Really Old Bear, slated for release in 2021.

Christie is an active member of the Blythe Community and two of her titles feature her custom Blythe Lula Kate and her custom middie Blythe Rosebud.

She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida.. home of Disney World...and has carried its magic with her as she resides in Tennessee.
