Well, it is time… finally!
..time for a drawing…
Let me get Sophia, with her tiny little fingers…
Oh no… she's plum tuckered out from all the excitement and has fallen asleep…
What shall we do?
Heading back to the sunroom to confer with the girlies…
They've been guarding that hat …making sure no one tampers with the names. They take their jobs very seriously, you know. Just look at those faces! All business.
Hitty Rachel Rose offers to hold the hat for the drawing…
Eliza pokes her little nose in as if to say…"ummmm…excuse me…but do you think I could draw the name?"
"…cause…I could do that for you, you know…"
Hitty can tell straightaway, that this is simply NOT going to be an option…
She has NO FINGERS…for goodness sake!
So it is decided that Grammy will have to reach in that basket with her waaay to long…waaaaay too large fingers…
Oh wait…what?
Tweezers?
Why, of course! Tweezers!
...those tiny-tipped craft tweezers…
..they'll be perfect for this job!
Hitty keeps an eye on this Grammy…making sure I'm not peeking at the tiny strips ..
Yes, I'm looking away…
..and Eliza is keeping an eye on the tiny hat filled with names… you know..making sure I don't accidentally pick up two or three names at once...
…and there it is…a teensy WEENSY little paper…Ha! and only one!
(Just so you know, it is not as easy as it looks!)
Miss nose-y rose-y has to be the first one to see who won….
(And it's just because she's so adorable that we let her have the first peek at the winner;)
There it is…plain as day! Our winner is…
LaVonne, aren't you glad you decided to join in on the fun?
Eliza thinks we ought to include your tiny slip of paper in with your gift…so you can remember us here at Rose Water Cottage and how fun it was to play at Grammy's House.
Please email your address to me at christieray07@yahoo.com or message me on fb, our new-to-the-blog friend! We're so happy to have you here, and we hope you'll come visit often!
And to the rest of you who played along and joined in on the fun…A HUGE hug and a kiss and a great showering of blessings on your day.!
I have received word that the shoppe will open, officially, tomorrow!! YAY!
Stop by for our "ribbon-cutting" festivities!
Always,
Christie
